- ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூலை 29 அன்று உலகளாவிய புலிகள் தினமாக (Global/International Tiger Day) கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
- 2010-ஆம் ஆண்டில் கையெழுத்திடப்பட்ட புலி பாதுகாப்பு தொடர்பான செயிண்ட் பீட்டர்ஸ்பர்க் பிரகடனத்தில் (Saint Petersburg Declaration) இந்த நாளைக் கொண்டாட முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டது.
- புலிகள் பாதுகாப்புத் திட்டம் (1973) – இந்தியாவில் வாழும் புலிகளைப் பாதுகாத்து அவற்றின் எண்ணிக்கையை அதிகரிக்க புலிகள் பாதுகாப்புத் திட்டம் 1973-ல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. அப்போது 1,220 புலிகள் தான் இருந்தன.
- அரசு எடுத்த பல்வேறு சீரிய பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளால் புலிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்து இந்தியாவில் தற்போது 2226-ஐ எட்டியுள்ளது.
- உலகில் மொத்த புலி எண்ணிக்கையில் 70% இந்தியா உள்ளது. தமிழ்நாட்டில் 4 புலிகள் காப்பகங்களில் 226 புலிகள் உள்ளன.
- 2022-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் புலிகளின் எண்ணிக்கையை இரண்டு மடங்காக உயர்த்த ஆசிய நாடுகள் முடிவெடுத்துள்ளன. அதாவது, ஆண்டிற்கு 27 சதவீதம் புலிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரிக்க திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- புலிகளின் உடல் பாகங்கள் கடத்தல்: ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் உலக வனவிலங்கு குற்ற அறிக்Tகை (UN Office on Drugs and Crime Repoit) புலிகளின் உடல் பாகங்களை மிகப் பெரிய அளவில் வழங்கும் நாடாக இந்தியா உள்ளதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- புலிகளின் உடல் பாகங்கள் சட்டவிரோதமாக ஏற்றுமதி செய்யப்படுவதில் 82 சதவீதம் இந்தியா மற்றும் தாய்லாந்து மூலமாக நடப்பதாக இந்த அறிக்கை கூறுகிறது.
- நம் நாட்டில் ஆண்டிற்கு சராசரியாக 200 முதல் 300 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில், 52 புலிகள் சரணாலயங்கள் பராமரிக்கப்படுகின்றன.தமிழகத்தில் ஐந்து சரணாலயங்களில், 6,194.97 சதுர கி.மீ., புலிகளின் கோட்டையாக உள்ளது.
- இத்தனை வசதிகள் இருந்தும், 10 ஆண்டுகளில் 1,059; கடந்த ஆண்டில், 127, இந்த ஆண்டில், 75 புலிகள் இறந்துள்ளன. வைகை, தென்னக நதிகளின் ஆதாரமான ஸ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூர், மேகமலை புலிகள் சரணாலயம் நாட்டின், 51, தமிழகத்தின் ஐந்தாவது சரணாலயம்.
- ‘பாந்தெரா டைகிரிஸ்’ என்ற புலியினத்தில் ஒரு வகை வங்காள புலி என்ற ராயல் பெங்கால் புலிகள். நாம் தற்போதுள்ள புலிகளை இந்த பெயரிலேயே அழைக்கிறோம்.

- 2022ஆம் ஆண்டு உலகப் புலிகள் தினத்தின் கருப்பொருள் “புலிகளின் எண்ணிக்கையை மீட்டெடுக்க இந்தியா திட்டம் புலிகளை அறிமுகப்படுத்துகிறது”. ஒரு புலியை தத்தெடுப்பது WWF மற்றும் அது செய்யும் வேலைகளுக்கு அதிசயங்களைச் செய்யலாம்.

- Every year on July 29, Global Tiger Day (Global / International Tiger Day) is celebrated. It was decided to celebrate this day in the Saint Petersburg Declaration on Tiger Conservation, signed in 2010.
- Tiger Protection Program (1973) – The Tiger Conservation Program was launched in 1973 to protect and increase the number of tigers living in India. There were only 1,220 tigers then. The number of LTTE cadres in India has increased to 2226 due to various austerity measures taken by the government. India accounts for 70% of the world’s tiger population. There are 226 tigers in 4 tiger reserves in Tamil Nadu.
- Asian countries have decided to double the number of LTTE cadres by 2022. That is, it is planned to increase the number of tigers by 27 percent per year.
- Tiger body parts smuggling: The UN Office on Drugs and Crime Repoit (UN Office on Drugs and Crime) says India is the largest supplier of LTTE body parts. The report states that 82 per cent of the LTTE’s body parts are smuggled through India and Thailand.
- In our country, 52 tiger sanctuaries are maintained at an average cost of 200 to 300 crore rupees per year. Out of the five sanctuaries in Tamil Nadu, 6,194.97 sq km is the tiger stronghold.
- Despite all these facilities, 1,059 in 10 years; Last year, 127 and this year, 75 tigers have died.
- Srivilliputhur, the source of Vaigai, Southern rivers, Meghamalai Tiger Sanctuary is the fifth sanctuary in the country, 51, Tamil Nadu.
- Royal Bengal tigers are a type of Bengal tiger in the ‘Panthera tigris’ species. We call the existing tigers by this name.

- பாலின அடிப்படையிலான வன்முறை (GBV) என்பது புவியியல், வர்க்கம், கலாச்சாரம், வயது, இனம் மற்றும் மதம் ஆகியவற்றைக் கடந்து உலகின் ஒவ்வொரு மூலையிலும் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு சமூகத்தையும் நாட்டையும் பாதிக்கும் உலகளாவிய சுகாதாரம், மனித உரிமைகள் மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டுப் பிரச்சினையாகும்.
- 1993 ஆம் ஆண்டு வன்முறையை ஒழிப்பதற்கான ஐ.நா. பிரகடனத்தின் பிரிவு 1, பாலின அடிப்படையிலான துஷ்பிரயோகத்தின் வரையறையை வழங்குகிறது,

- 2022-23 முதல், இந்தத் திட்டம் மிஷன் சக்தியின் சம்பல் துணைத் திட்டத்தில் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

- Gender Based Violence (GBV) is a global health, human rights and development issue that transcends geography, class, culture, age, race and religion to affect every community and country in every corner of the world.
- The Article 1 of UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence 1993 provides a definition of gender – based abuse, calling it “any act of gender – based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life”.
- In India, gender based violence has many manifestations; from the more universally prevalent forms of domestic and sexual violence including rape, to harmful practices such as, dowry, honour killings, acid attacks, witch – hunting, sexual harassment, child sexual abuse, trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation, child marriage, sex selective abortion, sati etc.
- Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) formulated a Centrally Sponsored Scheme for setting up One Stop Centre as a sub – scheme of Umbrella Scheme for National Mission for Empowerment of women including Indira Gandhi Mattritav Sahyaog Yojana.
- Popularly known as Sakhi, the scheme is being implemented since 1st April 2015. Since 2022-23, the scheme is subsumed into Sambal sub-scheme of Mission Shakti.
Objective
- To provide integrated support and assistance to women affected by violence, both in private and public spaces under one roof.
- To facilitate immediate, emergency and non – emergency access to a range of services including medical, legal, psychological and counselling support under one roof to fight against any forms of violence against women.
சைபர் ஷிக்ஷா முயற்சி / CYPER SHIKSHAA INITIATIVE

- சமூகத்தில் வளர்ந்து வரும் ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகளின் முக்கியமான குறியீடாக தாங்கள் ஓரங்கட்டப்பட்டதாகவும், முக்கிய அடையாளமாகிவிட்டதாகவும் பெண்கள் அடிக்கடி உணர்கிறார்கள்.
- பெண்களின் பணி பங்கேற்பு மற்றும் பணியாளர்களாக அவர்களின் நிலை பெரும்பாலும் சமூக காரணிகளால் பாதிக்கப்படுகிறது. இன்று எந்தப் பெண்ணும் ஆண்களை விட தாழ்ந்தவர்களாகக் கருதப்படுவதில்லை,
- அரசியல் ரீதியாக நாட்டைப் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்துவது முதல் அவர்கள் தங்களை நிரூபித்த விமானத்தை இயக்குவது வரை. பெண்கள் இன்று டிஜிட்டல் பிளாட்ஃபார்மில் செயலில் உள்ளனர்,
- மேலும் பெண்கள் சமூகத்தால் ஊக்குவிக்கப்படும் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான தொழில்நுட்ப அடிப்படையிலான ஸ்டார்ட்-அப்களை நாங்கள் பார்த்திருக்கிறோம்.
- இதற்கு கூடுதல் மதிப்பை சேர்க்கும் வகையில், மைக்ரோசாப்ட் இந்தியா மற்றும் டேட்டா செக்யூரிட்டி கவுன்சில் ஆஃப் இந்தியா (டிஎஸ்சிஐ) இணைந்து, நாட்டில் திறமையான பெண் நிபுணர்களை உருவாக்க 3 ஆண்டு திட்டமான “சைபர் ஷிக்ஷா”வை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளன.
- இந்த முன்முயற்சியின் கீழ், தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட சமூகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 1000 பெண்களுக்கு நாடு முழுவதும் பத்து இடங்களில் பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்பட்டு வேலை வாய்ப்பு வழங்கப்படும்.
நோக்கங்கள்
- சைபர் ஷிக்ஷா என்பது, தொழில்நுட்பத்தால் இயங்கும் உலகில் நிலையான வாழ்வாதார விருப்பங்களுக்கான சரியான திறன்களுடன் பின்தங்கியவர்களுக்கு வழங்குவதற்கான மைக்ரோசாப்டின் உறுதிப்பாட்டின் ஒரு பகுதியாகும்.
- இந்தத் திட்டம் ஒரு பரந்த சுற்றுச்சூழல் அமைப்பை உருவாக்கி, இணையப் பாதுகாப்பின் வாய்ப்புகளை ஒரு தொழிலாகப் பயன்படுத்த பெண்களுக்கு ஆதரவளிக்கும்.
- இந்தத் திட்டம் பெண் தொழில்நுட்ப வல்லுநர்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிக்கும், அவர்களுக்கான வளர்ச்சி உந்துதல் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்கு உத்தரவாதம் அளிக்கும் மற்றும் தொழில்துறையில் பெண்களின் பங்களிப்பை அதிகரிக்கும்.

- சைபர் ஷிக்ஷா பாடத்திட்டமானது, மேம்பட்ட கணினி மேம்பாட்டு மையத்தின் (C-DAC) தலைமையிலான பயிற்சி கூட்டாளர்களின் குழுவால் நிர்வகிக்கப்படும் திட்டங்களின் கோட்பாடு, வழக்கு ஆய்வுகள் மற்றும் நடைமுறைக் கைகளின் கலவையுடன் ஊடாடும், நான்கு மாத பயிற்சி வகுப்பைக் கொண்டிருக்கும்.
- இந்தத் திட்டம் 20-27 வயதுடைய பெண்கள் அறிவியல் பட்டதாரிகளுக்குத் திறந்திருக்கும், இதில் தொழில்துறை தலைவர்களுடன் வழிகாட்டுதல் அமர்வுகள் மற்றும் பட்டறைகள், மென்மையான திறன் பயிற்சி மற்றும் மைக்ரோசாஃப்ட் ஊழியர் தன்னார்வலர்களின் தொழில்நுட்ப அமர்வுகள் ஆகியவை அடங்கும்.
- ஆந்திரப் பிரதேசம், பீகார், டெல்லி-என்சிஆர், குஜராத், கர்நாடகா, மகாராஷ்டிரா, மத்தியப் பிரதேசம், மேகாலயா, ராஜஸ்தான் மற்றும் தெலுங்கானா ஆகிய இடங்களை இந்தத் திட்டம் உள்ளடக்கியது.
- ஆரம்பத்தில், இந்தத் திட்டம் நொய்டா, பாட்னா, ஹைதராபாத் மற்றும் மொஹாலி ஆகிய நகரங்களில் செயல்படுத்தப்படும், அதைத் தொடர்ந்து அடுத்த கட்டத்தில் மற்ற நகரங்கள்.
- பயிற்சியை வெற்றிகரமாக முடித்தவுடன், வேலை வாய்ப்பு உதவியுடன் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்படும்.

- Women often feel that they are side-lined and have become critical symbol of growing imbalances in the society.
- Women’s work participation and their status as employees have been often affected by social factors.
- Today no women is considered inferior to men, right from representing the nation politically to piloting the flight they have proven themselves. Women’s are also been active today on digital platform and we have seen hundreds of techno based start-ups promoted by the women community.
- Adding further value to this, Microsoft India and the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) have launched the “Cyber Shikshaa”, a 3-year program to create a dynamic pool of skilled women professionals in the country. Under this initiative 1000 women from underserved communities will be trained in ten locations across the country and offered employment opportunities.
Objectives
- Cyber Shikshaa is part of Microsoft’s commitment to providing the underprivileged with the right skills for sustainable livelihood options in a technology driven world.
- The programme will develop a broad ecosystem and support women to harness the opportunities of cyber security as a career.
- The programme will empower women technocrats, guarantee a growth driven livelihood for them and increase the participation of women in the industry.
Features
- The Cyber Shikshaa curriculum will comprise an interactive, four-month training course with a combination of theory, case studies and practical hands on projects managed by a group of training partners led by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
- The programme is open to women science graduates between the age of 20-27 years, it will also include mentoring sessions and workshops with industry leaders, soft skills training and technical sessions by Microsoft employee volunteers.
- The programme covers locations from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Rajasthan and Telangana. Initially, the project will be rolled out in the following cities: Noida, Patna, Hyderabad and Mohali, followed by other cities in the next phase.
- On successful completion of the training, a certificate will be awarded along with placement assistance.
